The Radxa X4 is a new X64 board from Radxa It features an Intel Alder Lake N100 with 4 cores and 4 threads operating at frequencies up to 3.4 Ghz and LPDDR5 memory at 4800 MT/s. The X4 also includes an m.2 slot for adding a SSD.
The Radxa X4 is currently in low supply and offers a wide selection of models. The Starter Kit will support any of the models. We are currently supplying the 8GB Ram with 64GB eMMC. You can also add an m.2 SSD for additional storage if you desire.
By default, the board will not have an OS image unless it is added as an ApplicationSet. If you add an ApplicationSet option, then the image will be added to the 64GB eMMC. The M.2 will be additional storage if added. There is no actual charge for the OS image/Software, just the cost involved in the imaging process.
The Pico 5 Radxa X4 is designed to cluster 3 Radxa R4 boards together to run a variety of software from web servers and database, to Big Data and NoSQL software. One of our most popular uses is with container managers like Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
